CNC Machining Changed the Way I Think About CAD

Back in school,

CAD just meant “can I model this?”

After actually making CNC parts,

I realized the real question is:

“can this be manufactured efficiently?”

A lot of designs:

look fine in CAD,

but machinists absolutely hate them.

That’s a completely different mindset.
