The PCB Passed DRC... But I Still Wasn't Ready to Order

Seeing a "DRC Passed" message is always a good sign.

It means the PCB layout satisfies the design rules I've defined, and that's an important milestone before manufacturing.

But for me, it isn't the final step.

Before placing an order, I still spend a few more minutes reviewing the board from a practical perspective. I check connector orientation, silkscreen readability, board outline, and sometimes open the Gerber Viewer to see how the manufacturing files look.

None of these checks replace DRC, they complement it.

DRC verifies the design rules. The final review helps me verify the design itself.

That extra review has become part of my workflow before every PCB order.
