That vice grip on a perfect finish

Just spent an hour getting that mirror finish. Then I cranked the vice down on it. Now it's a brushed finish with a delightful jaw print.

Lesson learned: engineers make great inspectors, but terrible judges of torque. On the plus side, the part is now 'vice-marked' for authenticity.
